What we collect
- Enquiry and quote forms: your name, company, email address, phone number, the services you are interested in, your order volumes and anything you write in your message.
- Newsletter sign-up: your email address.
- If you become a client: the contact, billing and shipping details needed to store, pack and deliver your goods, including the names and addresses of your own customers where we ship orders for you.
- Website use: technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit, collected by our hosting, security and caching tools.
How we use it and our lawful basis
- To reply to your enquiry and prepare a quote (steps taken at your request before entering a contract).
- To provide our warehousing, fulfilment and transport services (performance of a contract).
- To send our newsletter, only if you have signed up (consent, which you can withdraw at any time using the unsubscribe link or by emailing us).
- To keep the website secure, prevent fraud and improve our service (legitimate interests).
- To meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations (legal obligation).
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with providers who help us run our business, such as our website host, email provider and IT security tools, and, when we deliver goods for you, the carriers and customs agents who handle those shipments. Each of them may only use the information to provide their service to us.
International transfers
Because we operate in the UK and the US, your information may be accessed by our US team or processed by providers outside the UK. Where this happens we use appropriate safeguards, such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to work are kept for up to 24 months. Client and transaction records are kept for 6 years after our relationship ends to meet legal and accounting requirements. Newsletter details are kept until you unsubscribe.
